EEE Faculty delivers Invited Speech at International Conference, IVSP 2023 in Singapore

Dr. Md. Kafiul Islam, an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) delivered an Invited Speech on "Motion Artifact Removal for Ambulatory EEG Monitoring: Challenges and Opportunities" at the 5th International Conference on Image, Video and Signal Processing (IVSP 2023) which was held during 24-26 March, 2023 in Singapore in Hybrid Mode. IVSP 2023 is sponsored by Singapore Institute of Electronics and jointly supported by ACM Singapore Chapter and Gate to Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (gtCVPR). The accepted and registered papers will be published in the International Conference Proceedings (ISBN: 978-1-4503-9839-8), which will be indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus, and submitted to be reviewed by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI Web of Science). There were three Keynote Speakers and four Invited Speakers from around the world who presented their research works at the conference. In addition, Dr. Kafi also served as one of the Technical Committee members at IVSP 2023 and chaired a technical session titled "Information management and intelligent monitoring system" where six papers were presented online.
